Missions

Heifer Project International is our church wide Lent offering. The children's Sunday school has been collecting quarters for some time, but the entire church is now working on this mission project.
Backpack - Meriden United Methodist Church partners with Harvesters Topeka and Jeff West Elementary school to provide weekly backpacks to students who are able to have a small quantity of food for the weekend. Volunteers from Meriden United Methodist Church receive the food from Harvesters monthly and other volunteers meet weekly to pack and deliver the 65 +/- backpacks.

Gray Wolves is a senior adult ministry that provides monthly gatherings for a meal and information around critical needs.

Meriden United Methodist Church partners with God's Storehouse to provide monthly volunteers throughout the year.

Meriden United Methodist Church works with God's Storehouse to host the Meriden Christmas Store that provides Christmas gifts and food for 300 plus families each year who have registered and are qualified.
